OrcThe orcs are an ancient race originating from the creation of the first realms. They are regarded as the first ruling class of Ethos, dominating from the Genesis era until the Byzantium era. They have spent centuries living in recluse in the far regions of Ethos, rarely interacting with other races. Orcs are known to be tough and resilient, with a strong sense of loyalty to those they consider allies, but are also known to be creatures of darkness and madness. They will stop at nothing to gain back control of Ethos.

DemonThe Demons are a race of beings that originate from the Inferno, a dark and shadowy realm in the CryptoFighters universe. They seek to bring imbalance and chaos to the world. During the Constantinople Era, the Demons rose in order to prey on the lost people of Ethos. The Demons possess a great cunning, intellect, and malice, which makes them formidable opponents.

Half ElfThe half elves are a race originating from early human and elf half breeds. The half-elves inherited a mix of human proclivities, like creativity and spell casting, alongside elf attributes such as speed and expedition. Nothing will stop the half-elves from fulfilling their human and elven ancestors’ mission to bring ultimate, long-lasting peace to Ethos.

MageIn the beginning, magic was only a natural force, teeming with power and mystery. But eventually the mages rose. The mages were the first humans to discover magic, harnessing the arcane forces of the universe and bent them to their will. The mages use formidable spell-casting and potions to defeat their enemies. They are a powerful class of humans, stopping at nothing to defend Ethos.

Dark KnightAfter the First Liege Lord of the Human Council met his death, his close group of devoted followers initiated a dangerous revival ritual. The ritual resulted in the lord resurrecting as a superior skeletal being. The lord then began to savagely murder his group, and resurrect them as skeleton fighters. This group of fighters would come to be known as the death knights.

Once a generation, a test is performed on the undead in order to see which soul is worthy of joining the ranks of the death knights. Few souls are known to have passed this test.
